Head Start

Head Start is a Federally funded program.  Head Start services are responsive to the child and family's developmental, cultural, and linguistic experiences.

Individualized Head Start services include:

*Income based by federal guidelines

*Children 4 years old as of September 1

Pre-K

Pre-K provides opportunities and learning experiences which stimulate learning in all developmental areas through active exploration with adults, children, and materials.

Developmental areas include:

*physical

*social

*emotional

*intellectual

Kindergarten

Our Kindergarten program is a balance between academics and guided play.  Students acquire reading skills through active participation in early literacy activities and math skills through manpulatives.

*reading & writing

*social studies

*physical education

*music

*art
