Phillips Elemetary School is named after Mr. James R. Phillips.

Mr. Phillips served as Superintendent of Kaufman ISD for 26 years. His wife Mrs. Reba Phillips also taught at the elementary level.

Phillips Elementary School is a grade level campus, and is home to the Third and Fourth Graders of Kaufman ISD.
