Kaufman High School is hosting a special SAT Test Prep Seminar in the Lecture Hall Wednesday, September 8th from
8:15 am - 2:30 pm. This is an intensive 5- hour SAT seminar designed to give you effective test taking and time management strategies, to help boost your performance. September 6th is the final day of registration. The cost to each student is only $35. Materials include 26 practice tests and a study guide, with detailed answer explanations for each participant. Don't miss this opportunity! You can register at the Counselor's office until Sept. 6th , by cash or a check for $35 payable to Test Prep Seminars.

You must be in an athletic period in order to participate in the KHS Baseball Program. If you are not in an athletic period, you will not be allowed to play for KHS in the Spring. No exceptions. If you have any questions you need to see Coach Eurich at the fieldhouse BEFORE Friday.

Students A-L pay in Mr. Upton's office to Ms. Lewis
Students M-Z pay in Mr. Andrus' office to Mrs. Henson
Dues paid before October 29 will be $15.00, after October 29 dues will increase to $20.00

Picture day is right around the corner. Mark your calendar for Wednesday September 15 for student and faculty picture day. Seniors will be pictured on a later date. If you have any questions please contact Mrs. Hetmer in room B19.

Drama Club Meetings will be held every Wednesday from 3:30-4pm in the Theatre room. All students are welcome! The next meeting will be: September 1st.

The Lady Lion volleyball teams all played Canton last night and it was a "clean sweep"!!! All teams played very well and defeated Canton. The next games for the varsity will be on Thursday, Sept. 2nd and Saturday, Sept. 4th in the Brownsboro Tournament! The next games for all Lady Lions will be on Sept. 10th at Prosper!

The Varsity Tennis Team defeated Wills Point last night 16-3. Julia Lovegren was named the MVP of the night for her outstanding wins in singles and doubles, winning 8-1, 6-0,6-1. Sam Dominguez earned the Heart Award for his comeback match over the #1 Wills Point player winning 3-6, 6-1, (10-4). Other winners in singles and doubles were Caroline Costello, CR Neal, Brittany Slatton, Hunter Smith, and Brittany Stevens. Winners in singles were Dylan Hernandez, Mackenzie Russell, and Jarrett Vincik. Doubles winners were Diana Delagarza, Bryant Ford, and Cara Smith. Congratulations.
You have signed up to take an AP and Pre-AP courses at Kaufman High School for the 2010-2011 school year. Many courses have a Summer Assignment that MUST be completed over the summer. The Summer Assignment is due the first day of school.
